Trying to explain even something as rudimentary as this to someone as dumb as The SPOAT is a HUGE waste of time.

The poll in question showed Harris leading Trump by 3 points in Iowa several days before the election. Now Donald is suing, calling it election interference.
Given that the poll, despite being incorrect in this instance, has a history of accuracy and assuming the poll was conducted and evaluated the same the others were, this suit is a loser.
Trump almost certainly knows this but is addicted to suing those who piss him off even though he generally loses. So the real question is, does the Register pull an ABC and settle just to get out of his cross hairs?

taking depositions from the employees involved, the liability for the Register goes way up, so of course they will try to settle it for a reasonable sum.   The defense will fall about when the people involved in the alleged poll can't produce any documents showing it was real poll and won't be able to avoid the appearance that they "just made it up" which they probably did, and that would be election interference.

I kind of feel as though that icky dick has a bit of a man crush on ol' Donald Trump? Anyone else think the same? I mean for one DT is far....FARRRRR younger than icky dick. He wakes up daily and can NOT wait to just say his name! "But Trump.....but Trump....ohhh but Trump" He tries to be him constantly with his pretend Faulex and Mazda-rati and "ski" trips. He's infatuated with him really. I don't know......just seems that way to me.  

Meanwhile back to defunct pollster. Trump must sue to make sure integrity of elections is not comprised. The statement from the article below is exactly right.  

"The Harris Poll was no ‘miss’ but rather an attempt to influence the outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election,"

It's easier to have manipulative intent now more than ever. Winning the lawsuit is not the point. Bringing the lawsuit is. Good for him for being smart enough to see right through Selzer.

How many times does this have to be explained? Under Account Settings, there is an option to select your own Time Zone and that affects posting times and the displayed times.  
.
The message you quote as "Posted by inicky46, 12/18/2024 12:26:23 AM" shows up on  my account with the same info EXCEPT for a different HH in HH:26:23 .  Try changing your Time Zone setting and you'll that the time of your posts no longer matches your local clock.

EDIT: I just checked THIS (my own) post and the time stamp has an hour that corresponds to my TER selected Time Zone and NOT to my local Time Zone.

Yes. I know alllllllllllllll about that. Good grief. Stop trying to explain time zone settings. What, are we new here? It's completely irrelevant to my point. As I'm in eastern time zone and mine is set to eastern. Icky dick is in eastern time zone as well. The end.  

What you didn't take in to account is, Icky dick is a habitual liar. He posted at midnight all by himself and I called him on it. Big deal. Get over it.  

He's just spent 2 days trying to lie out of it. That's absolutely nothing new for this idiot. He lied. He posted at midnight and then lied. Also nothing new. Let's all move on. He's got plenty more lies on deck ready to go at any time. Don't worry.......

Being called "a habitual liar" by perhaps the biggest liar on this board is a hoot.
Also, how does he know what time zone setting I use? Does he have access to my account? If not, stop lying about it. Because I can guarantee I wasn't posting at midnight. That night or any other night. Besides, why is that so important to The SPOAT? Because he has to mindlessly and ignorantly pick at everything I say. That's what a stalker does.
And remember he lied earlier this year when I said I was in Tahiti. He claimed the time code on my posts proved I wasn't. So how come I've got the visa stamps in my passport to prove it?
But then he says it's no "Big Deal," as if he didn't bring up the subject to begin with and then beat it to death over "2 days."
What a stupid hypocrite.
