...Bloomberg will be able to participate in the debate.  Biden and Bernie have already qualified for the Nevada debate so the rules changes won't affect them, other than having to debate against Bloomberg.  Cory Booker and Julian Castro had been calling for these rules changes when they were in the race.

There's no reason for this change to be made at this particular time EXCEPT in order to bring Bloomberg in.  They obviously see Joe Biden as a liability (corruption issue, not to mention his failing cognitive abilities.)  They also see Warren as unpopular.  And they are sure Bernie would go down to ignominious defeat in the general.  I guess they find the others unexciting ... Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Yang and Steyer.  And they hate Tulsi.

I don't think Bernie or his bots are going to just lay their and moan as they get fucked again. I don't like anything about Bernie, but that doesn't invalidate ALL of his points.
