First he said everyone had to have at least the first vaccination.  Then he said fully vaccinated was both shots.  Now he says "fully vaccinated" means you have two vaccinations AND the booster shot.  How long before he moves the goal posts again and says fully vaccinated means four injections, not three?  As it stands now, he is lumping the people who are vaccinated but not received the booster in with the people who are completely unvaccinated when he talks about people who are not doing their part to end the pandemic.  

First of all, this is NOT new.
Second, he didn't just pull the guidance out of his ass like you pull your posts. He is simply following the guidance from the CDC, which has based its recommendations on the actual levels of immunity in vaccinated people.

Wanker's study (or at least his summary of it) fails to mention that the numbers include breakthrough cases of Covid in fully-vaccinated people. BUT, those people generally get only mild symptoms and don't end up in the hospital.

The most famous and successful vaccines are not CURES, they are preventatives: polio, smallpox, measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, ...  . In general, therapeutic antibiotics can CURE bacterial infections. Also in general, therapeutics for cancer, diabetes, heart diseases, high blood pressure, ED, central nervous system diseases, ... are "NOT A CURE" for any of those conditions but they successfully treat and control symptoms and promote a longer and higher quality of life.
