If you read history, you know that once a group calls on God to do their bidding, they soon call upon themselves to do the bidding of God! Be afraid! Be very afraid!

turn the US "into an explicitly Christian nation," which would of course violate the Constitution. And he expects him to do it despite the fact Ivanka and Jared are Jews.  Thumpers = nut jobs.

the very reason Europeans fled to the new world?  These guys are no different than ISIS (although maybe more subtle than violent).  They want THEIR religion to dominate our country, the same way ISIS wants their perverted form of Islam to dominate their areas of interest.

Whatever happened to the notion of religious freedom and the premise our government should neither embrace nor be beholden to ANY religion?

Don"t you think you stepped on your point by comparing him to a terrorist organization? You guys are really losing it with your hate.

of something called the "Crusades?"  How would you characterize that effort?

DJMM called you out on an inflammatory statement, as you compared the man in question to ISIS. That parallelism struck me as quite odd too, as there is no need to fallaciously equate our political adversaries  with cold blooded murderers of innocent people.
It would stand to reason that you need to back that claim up or simply withdrawal it. This need not be so difficult.

VP Pence had one meal with the guy? Is that the way we judge people now? Seems like a bit of reach.

because I wouldn't want to be any shadow of a doubt that I reject his his extreme views! ;)

I have done the same at times with who I choose to associate and dine.
But did you hold President Obama to the same standard (vis a vis his extensive relationship with Reverend Wright) who actually was his pastor and not just some religious leader he had dinner with once, as you now hold VP Pence?

Wright's function as a prophet, in regards to his preaching, I didn't account for it to be a positive selling point for Obama. Just in case you are unfamiliar with the Old Testament prophets, they were seldom seen to be friends of the state, because the the leaders of the state, Israel, were viewed as disobeying God. BTW! You have plenty of White Evangelical pastors condemning the U.S. for it's laws on homosexuality, gay marriage, abortions, etc. ;)

I cant argue with you if you say you held President Obama to the exact same standard. It has just been my experience, many Democrats have two differing standards on this issue, as Republicans have on other issues, no doubt.
