We'll never know, but my naivete tends to think that  this woman made bad choices in husbands more than she was potentially a crook herself.  Of course, it will be impossible for me to not think of how she was portrayed in Bloom County cartoons more than anything, but her devotion never wavered...and she wasn't judgemental of Ron Jeremy when on "The Surreal Life", which, given her background, she easily could have been (or course, there was no forgiving Vanilla Ice).  That says to me that she walked the walk, but again, we'll never know.

oddly enough, Tammy Fay was a Minnesota native, and small town girl, and inspite of her bizzar looks and wasteful spendings, she did seem to walk the walk in so much as matters of the heart...

I've met her breifly, and she doe
have a genuine quality of acceptance to her... I suspect she was merely mentally and emotionally broken, and what we saw on the outside was just an expression of that...

I doubt she's burning in Hell tonight with Jerry Farwell...

Tammy Faye appeared true to her faith to the end.
It leaves me wondering about the omnipotent, loving God that allowed her such a long, painful, debilitating, disfiguring death.

IMHO the woman was as ugly on the inside as she was on the outside. If there really is a christian heaven and hell, well I'll put it this way. She doesn't need to pack a sweater where she's going.

She was a thieving, conniving, phony in life and death doesn't make her a better person. Her kind are what makes me despise organized religion.
