"America's Governor?" LMAO. DeSantis was a terrible candidate who failed miserably after expectations he could beat Trump. Who dubbed him "American's Governor?" ChicKenShit? How droll coming from our leading partisan hack. Oh, and remember what happened to "America's Mayor?" Disbarred, disgraced, defunded by a massive court judgment.
Unlike Vivek, DeSantis challenged Trump in a way that damaged the GOP. He really should have waited until 2028. I think he'll recover but I think the damage will be remembered and he'd have trouble running again against Vivek, Vance, and Gabbard -- all rising stars in the GOP prez bullpen. If Trump wins, Vance will have the best path. . DeSantis can cement is legacy by finishing out this term (he can't serve a third consecutive term.) Not sure where he goes after that. He probably wouldn't run against Rubio in 2028, nor Rick Scott in 2030. Maybe he could go back to US Congress? He could run again for gov in 2030, especially if a democrat wins in 2026.
