I think every conservative nutcase struggles with the same question.  Some resolve it with a sex scandal.

The point is, you never know in politics. Remember how sure everyone seemed regarding Bush's chances for re-election. I'll grant it was a close election, but as they so, you can't be a little bit pregnant. We will see in November.

Kerry is very lucky to have lost that election;  I'm certain he's aware of that.  His presidency would have looked terrible with the House, Senate and Courts all Republican.  He would have been powerless.

If my memory is correct, the votes were counted by Democrats in Florida.  Also, given the Dems opposition to photo IDs, I would guess that the old mantra of "vote early and often" is alive and well within the DNC.
