For once, we are in total agreement. "Rev" Terry Jones has a colorful past, including being kicked out of a church in Germany. Seems he had his hand a little too often in the church's cash box, using church funds to pay his private expenses. His daughter fessed up to that. I detest the burning of any books, be they bibles, korans, Mein Kampf, whatever. Put flags on the list too.

I've yet to even see the need for a mosque at that site. Hell, there is another mosque just 4 blocks away. Are there that many muslims living in the financial district of NYC? I still have the feeling that their intent is to poke a thumb in our eyes, with the socalled, cultural center/mosque. Especially by calling it the "Cordoba Center".

You already know my feelings about building a slap in the face to all that died on 9-11 and their families. I will be more than happy to donate to the legal fund of whoever is charged with turning the mosque into a pile of rubble. My feelings about the Koran burning pastor are a bit more complicated. While I support his ight to do so, I find the whole "MY God is better than your God" holy war that has been going on for millenia  as revolting an example of what's wrong with the human race as anything I can think of.
