Debate was probably another tie, but maybe not if people like hearing Kerry's plans.

Kerry had a lot of ideas for new ways of doing things, but with Bush, it just seemed like more of the same.  Bush keeps talking about how rough he's had it.  That's not what I want to hear.  We've gotta change some things, not whine about how rough we had it.

Bush was funnier at the end for sure, and Kerry's a stuffed shirt no matter how hard he tries to seem like a regular guy.  I know Kerry better now than I did before the debates.  I can see him as President now.  I think he can do the job.

I'm planning to vote for Kerry.

Some things I expect.  All media accounts are calling it a tie.  And from what I was able to watch of it, I agree with the media accounts.
I guess I will come back late tonight to see that you and others of your ilk have spewed out a fog of supposition with the purpose of turning simple truisms into grotesque distortions.  I just hope that the few moderates that will logon here during the day counter such BS.

You don't even have a clue why I said it. Which makes your silly post about me and "others of my ilk" seem really ignorant.

and so it is not surprising that with W's vast improvement you would call this a victory for the big W.

As the Presidency is ``hard work'', everyone that disagrees with you is ``ignorant'' (if you say it 3 times in a row and click your heels - it may come true, in Wonderland.  So, you need only click your heels in the future).

Where have I stated that the Presidency is hard work and everyone that disagrees with me is ignorant? That charge is more appropriately applied to you and others here who frequently opine on the ignorance of anyone who supports Bush.

My calling Stilltryin25 ignorant is accurately based on his wrong-headed claims that I'm a right-winger, belonging to some kind of "ilk", because I support President Bush over Senator Kerry. A simple look back at prior posts regarding social and fiscal issues refutes his silly, ignorant claim.

The reference to the presidency being hard work was in Bush's repeated claim that the presidency is hard work (how many times did he say it, no se).  Remember, in that tied first debate (the connection is your repeated claims regarding other's ignorance).

I suppose my impression that you claim those who disagree with you are ignorant is from your posts (a recent one event titled ``More Ignorance !'' - the content, in my [ignorant] oppinion, didn't warrant the title).  Perhaps I was a bit overboard in my assessment that, in your view, everyone who disagrees with you is ignorant.  Still, the frequency with which you like to claim someone else is ignorant is a bit:

condescending, arrogant, haughty, egotistic, pretentious, etc...

I don't recall calling someone ignorant.  I have a Republican brother-in-law who is a minority (probably some cousins).  He falls into Bribite's classification in that, he [my brother-in-law] blames the Democrats policies for the laziness of many of his siblings (they are lazy and expect the government to do everything).  I believe they are just lazy.  My point is, of course there are many who support Bush for different reasons [And don't tell me there are no racist Republicans - yes, some Dems, but not as blatant or rampant] and vice-versa.

Obviously, there are ignorant people in this world.  I don't claim someone is ignorant simply because they support Bush.  However, in my view, on this board, there is a high correlation between being a ``wannabe tough guy''  (I have other terms for this) and a Bush supporter.

I do call you clueless and a certified citizen of zombieland.  Learn to think for yourself for once.  I often see you backing posts that have no basis in reality.  I have had serious differences with members on this board of all political bents when I felt that they posted something that was silly or simply untrue (which your post that started this, was).

I prefer Kerry's so-called "stuffed shirt" to Dumbya's definite "stuffed animal".  Shrub got that "deer in the headlights" look again while stumbling on his comments.  Must've had a battery go dead on his transmitter.

Kerry showed some humor at the end, joking about marrying up.  He helped himself all around tonight.

It would appear that Mr.Kerry did well.  But I have to admit, I watch debates only in small segments.  Most of the reason it that I am normally busy with my line of work, especially early in the week.  I do think that the swings back and forth in this campaign have been very interesting, they do cause even me to pay added attention to what is going on.
