Debate thoughts

...who ask what Trump was talking about when he mentioned his small hands and said something else wasn't small and guaranteed it was no problem?  Can't wait until he takes on Clinton and talks about her old stretched-out pussy.  He really epitomizes what it's like to have a presidential temperament.

Fox is no different than the other networks - they were more interested in entertainment than informing the voters.  They revved up the clown car for the three stooges and gave short shrift to Kasich, the only adult in the room.  You'd think they would try to make their party's candidate appear to have some gravitas.

I agree about the classless audience; they sounded like they were bussed in from a strip club.

Forget the upcoming convention, the GOP train officially derailed last night.

-- Here’s a sampling of how conservative media outlets are covering the debate:

National Review: “GOP Implosion Accelerates in Motor City Wreck.”

FoxNews.com, “GOP breaks down in Motor City”: “Much of the fight on the Republican side is centered on who can beat Clinton,” Chris Stirewalt, the digital politics editor, writes. “The growing fear among GOP voters is that the answer might be: ‘None of them.’”

Christian Broadcasting Network, “All That Was Missing Was Jerry Springer”: “The Grand Old Party didn’t look grand at all. Instead, they looked gross,” writes CBN political correspondent David Brody. “Reince Priebus is faced with a crucial decision now: does he go with Tylenol or Excedrin? Which medication will take away this big fat headache?”

and Monica in the Oral Office.  I rushed to hit the mute button every time the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES was on TV.

Bill's "Gravitas" was all over Lewinsky's face, and thank God, her dress.  That, of course, was before he was convicted of perjury, disbarred, and impeached

Spare me your outrage

The Trump supporters don't care how bad a debater he is, you saw that crowd last night.
Big Words & Concepts go over their head.

Tv debates won't matter in this election. Forget what the pundits say, they've been wrong all along.

brought to the Presidency and the country?  just a little splooge spillage in the Oral Office by one of your heroes - they had to change all the carpets and power-wash the interior of the White House.  Black-lights aren't allowed in the White-House due to Bill

and don't forget that Hillary led the charge to destroy the WOMEN (she called them Bimbo's at the time) who Bill raped (Kathleen Willey) and sexually assaulted (Paula Jones and bunches of others).  Monica's case was just a simple, but extreme, case of sexual harassment by the most powerful man in the world with a young intern.  Kinda like Capone getting popped for tax evasion

Bill and Hillary both oughta be on a sex-offenders list

Yup, Hillary is the Commander-in-Chief in the "War on Women" with Ted Kennedy credited with the only confirmed kill - if you don't count that countless little girls snuffed by PBA.

Bill Clinton and his supporters like you have "defined deviancy down"

another amoral lib, you prove it with every post

Desperate you say?

now edit this

in the "spin room" with Donald after the debate ? She looked like she was on the verge of tears. Surprised no one has mentioned this.

I expected a six on one slugfest last night with Trump having to take on three rival candidates along with all three mods. It appears that perhaps Fox doesn't want to get shut out completely if Trump wins the nod and the mods, including Meg Kelly, were very evenhanded IMO.

Cruz won it, but it doesn't matter much. He's way to radical conservative, and he has only a face and voice a mother, may have much difficulty, in loving! He will most likely take away votes from Rubio, but that's about it. Rubio looked like if he just talked fast enough everyone would just go away. They won't. Kasich sounded good, but shaky. Not as sharp, given his age, as he needs to project. People need to be assured that he can maintain his health and mind for 4 to 8 years. Trump got beat up, but think of Rocky. He took a pounding, and the powers that be were against him, and bet against him, yet he won.  The Republican establishment, through their ganging up on him, may be painting Trump in the same light as Rocky. A tough guy underdog! Probably just what he wants!

Honestly I thought Trump's comments last night were funny and appropriate in light of Rubio's ridiculous pettiness. The fact that Republicans and Democrats both hate this guy appeals to me. Our Government "establishment" has failed us ALL miserably. Blacks, White, Hispanics, Asian American's etc, none of us are really getting ahead. Trump will blow the system and structure to pieces.

Faux news - snarky lib shit.  clever word combinations are their substitute for thoughtful analysis

the NEWS part of Fox is as good as any - Baier, Wallace, Shep

their commentary folks - Carlson, Hannity are right-wing commentators

O'Reilly, Van Susterin, Hume and Kelly are something of a hybrid tending to be pragmatic and right of center but generally fair

I read WaPo, WSJ daily and watch Faux, CNN and MSM.  Nobody watches MSNBC so they are blowing up their lib line-up

last night they did a fine, fair job at the debate, I agree with GaG

Fox News has decided to stop giving Marco Rubio prominent, favorable coverage.
"We're finished with Rubio," Roger Ailes told one of the network’s hosts recently, according to three unnamed sources.

* Fox is run by Roger Ailes.
** Roger Ailes gets his marching orders from Rupert Murdoch
*** Rupert Murdoch, the founder of Fox News, said Wednesday that if front-runner Donald Trump were to become the Republican nominee, the “party would be mad not to unify.”

I believe the even-handedness you refer to is a directive coming from the top.

In other words, in the long run, Trump appears to have won his spat with Fox and Ailes.

That's some serious "street cred" Trump is building up.

Would have been funny if he were on stage at the comedy club.

As for ridiculous pettiness trump and rubio are equal participants.

Still rooting for Kasich.

I agree. I like the fact that he's taken on the political establishment, and is kicking them in the teeth. However, it goes beyond that. Sure, the political establishment is feeling the pain, but it's getting through to the establishment elites, who support the present political establishment, that there needs to be some real change occurring. The peasants can no longer be sold on the lie that it's only those on the other side of the aisle who are lying, and cheating. They see that the whole government, and those who use it for their own financial gain, are corrupt, and have no interest in their well-being. I've said this before. The establishment elites have been predicting our doom, as a nation, for awhile now, and their accumulation of power and wealth, through their control and influence of the government, are their way of staking out the lifeboats for themselves, for when our ship of state goes down. Us rats will be left to swim on our own, as long as we can, while they head their boats to brighter shores.

To me, it seemed likes he sounded shaky, and stumbled over his ideas and words. Sanders sounds much sharper, and what's his age, 75?
