What a nice, simple, kind gentleman.
All these leader from the Middle East are painted as crazy, evil men. They seem very easy going to me. I know it's all politics. But I don't fall for it. I would go and hug any of them.

Hello Robertini:)

I know you are posting this with no intent at malice. But I must tell you, you are a fat tuna swimming in shark infested waters if you wish to bring up this particular subject.
ESPECIALLY where it concerns Ahmadinejad, a man who denies the history of what happened to my entire family, who wishes to ELIMINATE and wipe out the country of my ancestry and my roots, and under ANY circumstance, if he had his way, I would be dead, the torture of my parents a deed denied, and twelve million souls forsaken.
Robertini, if you would hug this man, you would be my enemy.
You are entitled to your opinion, my friend, this IS STILL the US of A, at least until the next terror attack gives Bush Cheney et al the excuse to exercise totalitarianism in its most Glorious Fascist form.
I despise Bush and Cheney, but at least they don't OPENLY fornicate with my enemies.
But if you choose to swing with that Iranian ape, be careful which vine you grab onto.
Now why don't you be a good boy and go back and play in the chat room like the sweet silly good little Tini that you really are. Really, Robertini, seeing you in this forum is like seeing Paris Hilton at a Mensa convention.

Escape while you still can.

 Sincerely,

 Doctor Gonzo

In no particular order, I think Robertini is/was trying for :

1. irony;
2. satire;
3. sarcasm.

I could be wrong.  I certainly hope not.

4. and a little bit of whatever...
I just found the interviewee to pretend to be so nice. He was telling the interviewer that he loved everybody and and stuff. I guess that's where the satire, irony and sarcasm comes in.
but then again I don't know the man personally ;-P

Waaay bak in May, during The Great Immigration Debate, Mister Spock [where IS HE now?] pointed out that when you post and you frequently employ sarcasm, irony etc... lots of the other good folk on the Board will not be sure if you're being serious..or not.  I say just read the thing closely a few times and go with your judgement.

fact that many times, he's sincere.
Which is what makes it so tough to really be mad at him.
He's sort of Forrest Gump/Gomer Pyle in the role of Lothario... on a Craigslist budget.
(actually, i like Robertini, he can be such an amusing litle puppy dog sometimes)
