He lost the nomination and ran as an Independent.  He sits in the Democratic Caucus but is more of a pain in the ass than anything else.  Thank god he's finished as a Senator.  Try to keep this idea in your tiny brain: you can't extrapolate my opinion on one Senator (or Congressman, or anyone) and presume my opinion extends to an entire group.  That's what you tried but failed to do in presuming my opionion about Lieberman extends to other Democrats.  In fact, there are some Republicans who understand the need to compromise, and some Democrats who don't.  You, of course, just automatically assumed you knew what I thought.  But you don't have the capacity in that empty space between your ears.  As you are one of the Board's leading partisan hacks and hypocrites, I would not expect you to be able to comprehend this.

Lieberman was a Democrat for YEARS!!! He lost the Democratic Caucus because of the INTOLERANCE of democrats to accept anyone who did not step into line. I thought THAT is what this thread was about, intolerance within a political party.
