As of today, the state of NY can now take credit for over HALF of all the deaths from Covid-19 in the country.  The 49 OTHER states account for the other almost-half.  Is it just a coincidence that state and local governments are run by Dems?  This is Cuomo's opportunity to go on TV and start chanting, "We're number one!"

Seriously, NYC area skews the USA numbers horribly.  Downstate NYC would be worst in the world by far in deaths per capita.  And if separated out from the rest of the USA, the USA would be #11 (assuming honest reporting from all other countries.)

1) Then why don't you give Newsome, a DEMOCRAT, some credit for the relatively better outcome in CA? That's a rhetorical question. The answer is, because you're a partisan hack.
2) You also utterly fail to acknowledge there are things about New York City that make if a prime candidate for a bad outcome, no matter what. First, because of population density. Spread is easy there. Second, because it's the main portal into the US from Europe. DNA tests show that's where the COVID-19 that infected NY came from.
3) Thanks for giving no credit to the great Socialist state of Germany for handling COVID better than anyone.
