Imagine that we have a Democrat administration. Now imagine that a right wing radical shot and killed one of the most influential liberals in the country on live TV. Now imagine that thousands of other conservatives shamelessly celebrated the assassination and called for more of them. Now imagine that in the same week another right winger shot up a country club while shouting ‘MAGA’ and another one shot up a news station and left behind a manifesto complaining about liberal bias in the media.
Now imagine that a week after all of those attacks, a conservative sniper perched on a rooftop fired into a Planned Parenthood clinic, killing or injuring multiple people. And imagine that this Planned Parenthood attack was just the latest in a string of them stretching back several months.

What would Democrats do?
Is there any doubt how the Democrats would respond? Is there any doubt that they would wage a full scale war on conservatives and have people like me frog marched in front of cameras in handcuffs and leg irons? Is there any doubt that they would declare martial law and label all right wing expression incitement? Is there any doubt that they would be rounding up conservatives by the bus load and shipping us to Gitmo? Is there any doubt that they would have Fox News and every other conservative media company shut down and its executives arrested or sued into bankruptcy
What’s the proper response?
I’m not even advocating for Republicans to do all that Democrats would do if the roles were reversed. I believe in the rule of law. I know that they would throw the rules out, chuck the Constitution into a wood chipper, and ruthlessly persecute us all if conservatives engaged in the kind of systematic campaign of political terrorism that the left is currently conducting.

I don’t want anyone to be persecuted. What I do want — what we all want — is for the Trump Administration to do absolutely everything legally in its power to prosecute and punish every leftist responsible for committing, coordinating, funding, or inciting this epidemic of political violence. I want them to actually treat Antifa like the terrorist organization that it is, and handle its adherents and affiliates the same way we handle ISIS and Al Qaeda. Now is the time. Lives hang in the balance. Crush the terrorists. Do it now

He didn’t say a word about the June murder of a Minnesota Democratic state legislator and her husband. He said nothing condemning the 2022 hammer attack on the husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
He said President Joe Biden ran a “Gestapo administration.” He accused President Barack Obama of “treason.” He called for a protester at one of his 2016 rallies to be “carried out on a stretcher, folks.”
There is, of course, more. Lots more.

So the people causing or wanting to cause violence shouldn't have the hell beat out of them no matter if they are lunatics on the right or left?

 
He called the violence against Hortman horrific and needs to stop....immediately once he heard the news.

 
He talked about the Pelosi issue about how the attack was terrible and how police need help with crime.   He also made fun of it like many others since two men were in their underwear, glass was broken on the "inside out" and some other abnormalities.   Which lots of people questioned.

 
But yeah.... ignore facts as well.

 
But Trump does also need to tone it down.   But with ICE it is the left pushing lots of hate....and towards law enforcement for years.   If you can't see that you are fucking blind.   Hell Newsome did it last night.

Trump was talking about everyone on the left. And I don't know if any but the most radical fringe who are "causing or wanting to cause violence." And if they are doing that they should be ARRESTED, not have the "hell beat out of them." Since when is that part of the criminal code?
Then you admit he "made fun of" the Pelosi beating. Nice. So you condemn him out of your own mouth.
Talk about ignoring the facts.
Oh, and THEN you say Trump also needs "to tone it down."
Talk about talking out of both sides of your mouth.

You just can't fucking admit that the attacks on ICE are pushed by the left.

 
You can't admit the political leaders on the left are vilifying and demonizing people on the right.    You want to play "what about Trump".....   Trump isn't calling them the worst names in history.   Trump isn't saying to beat the hell out of them.   Trump isn't yelling FUCK  (insert political opponent).   Trump isn't saying to stop federal agencies and police from doing their jobs, get in the face of other elected officials, etc.    Most of the time when Trump speaks he says EXTREME or RADICAL Left.   Dont hear that from liberals.... they just say MAGA or Trump supporters.   Which means if you voted for Trump....which means any conservative, republican, etc.  especially in the eyes of mentally ill people.  Which people who push for violence and these people committing violence are....fucking mentally ill.

 
You bring up about how i said.... Then he made fun of Pelosi attack.... SO DID PEOPLE ON THE LEFT.   They made fun of two dudes in their undies.... yeah Jokes were made.  So you going after those people too???    

 
Yes I do condemn people for violence.  IT IS WHAT FUCKING PEOPLE SHOULD DO.    But you are not seeing our elected officials owning up to what they are saying.   The ones pushing hate towards ICE Agents.   The attack yesterday was targeted at ICE.   I could give two shits what the attackers political affiliations was.   The rhetoric being spouted by one side of politics is ICE IS GESTAPO,  ICE IS KIDNAPPING PEOPLE,  ICE IS EVIL, etc..... get it.   All that hate is coming from one side of the political spectrum.   That side needs to own up to their rhetoric against people doing their jobs.   ICE is following the law, they are following the laws that President Clinton signed and put on the books back in i believe 1996 area.

              Not a whole lot as far as I can tell. By asking latino persons for papers, arresting suspects without probable cause, snatching people off the street, beating those who “resist” arrests, deporting in violation of court orders,  the masked ICE agents – some of whom wear no uniform or badge – are blatantly violating the Constitution.  But, because they cannot be identified and often don’t wear body cams as we saw in Chicago last week,  the primary deterrents available against law enforcement  - civil rights lawsuits under 1983 or “Bivens” actions against federal agents, or state law criminal offenses  – are no limitation on their conduct. They have no accountability, unless their superiors turn them in. Fat chance of that. And if this ever happens Trump likely will bail them out with a pardon.  

             How many prosecutions or civil lawsuits against Trump ICE agents can you name? Zero. How many prosecutions against Trump enemies? We’ll start counting with Mr. Comey and go from there….

             What you dismiss as “hate by the left”  is not hate because they are going their jobs but precisely because they are doing their jobs illegally. And when some nut like the Dallas sniper opens fire, you can count on Trump to smear the left and the Democrats as a group rather than place blame solely on the criminal. Trump has already said he will veto the Democrats “no masks for ICE” bill and smeared the sponsors as “obviously they hate their country."

wearing masks due to Covid, but what is wrong with ICE wearing masks when the criminal aliens are wearing masks, too.  What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.   Why would ICE agents wearing masks to work have any less right to do so than illegals working on a farm?   I can remember a time when there was a law against wearing a mask into a bank, but then Covid hit, and you couldn't go into a bank without one.  At the same time, virtually all government employees were required to wear masks to work or lose their jobs.  Biden issued an executive order mandating masks for everyone.  Why can't Trump issue an executive order mandating masks for ICE agents?

where do you get that the “criminal aliens” -aka also known as undocumented workers and DACA dreamers – are wearing masks? They aren’t deporting bank robbers in the middle of a crime and have started breaking automobile windows to get at illegals in their cars. Given that Trump can pardon them if they go too far and violate federal criminal laws and the difficulty of identifying them for state offenses, aren’t you concerned they have no accountability? Seems to me that kind of EO would make them more like secret police, not less.
