Getting the feeling we just may have a racism problem within many of our police departments and I LOVE the police.  But only the good, honest ones.

So here we have that 75 year old man who was either pushed, or stumbled when the cop "bumped" him.

The two officers who "allegedly" bumped him were suspended.  Oh, and their entire unit just walked by while the 75 year old was lying on the ground and bleeding from the head.

Apparently the other 75 members of this unit resigned.  See how difficult it is to truly weed out the bad cops.  This entire unit resigned?  What would they have done, if one of their brethren suffocated someone to death by placing his/her knee on a suspect for almost 9 minutes?  Would they intervene?  Would they report it to their superiors, if somehow it got by initial scrutiny?

Could this be more examples of bad cops or a systemic problem which we would not have been able to identify?  Something smells very fishy here.

Will always stick up for my buds, but NOT when they have done something wrong.  Instead, will do what I can, BEFORE they do something stupid like this.  I know good cops will too!

The link I posted is for you, Jack, and it was in Buffalo, not exactly NY but close (LOL).

..."tripped and fell."  How much more systemic can it get if the entire police department circles the wagons and lies about what we saw with our own lying eyes?

I am not saying there isnt, IDK, I just haven't seen any but I don't know a lot about Chauvin personally, to be sure. lol

And the 75 year old man was white, was he not? So that wouldn't be racist. And if it's systemic in Buffalo, that town is run by a liberal mayor so he would need to take responsibility, correct?

I am not sure why you used him as example just under your racism charge. Did you think he was black, Once?

As an aside, I think the number is 57 and they didn't resign from the force, just from SWAT duty but not 100% sure of that.

contact our TER discussion recorder and ask her to expand the scope of our topic from a "systemic race" problem, to bad cops in general.  Then the overall focus of her notes will center on bad cops.  While I agree, bad racist cops are bad, bad cops of any flavor are bad as well.

You may be right, the central theme we've been discussing just so happens to be taking place with the backdrop of a potentially racially charged police homicide.  But the initial hypothesis was, these are just a few bad apples and not an indication of an overall systemic problem.

Will submit this motion to our forum secretary.  Anyone second this motion?  All in favor, please say aye.
