This possibility seems to be getting more and more traction--been reading several pieces from various sources hinting at this strongly!! I think it would actually make the Dems VERY tough to beat in November! There's just no enthusiasm out there for Biden and this ticket would re-energize the base and represent everything the progressives love!! They would market the HELL out of it--and if it comes to fruition I don't think they can lose regardless of how things are in the country (regarding the economy, crime, etc.)

Nobody is going to do anything unless Biden drops out. Gavin is certainly waiting in the wings to jump in. But Biden's got to decide soon. These primary campaigns need to start early these days and DNC obviously is stopping any primary so far (See RFKjr.) . Speaking of RKFjr, wonder if he'd jump back into the democrat primary if Biden drops out??? Independent run is a waste of effort if there is a lane in the Dem party.

The reporting around the debate will definitely rekindle the “is he running?” speculation. And a Newsom/Whitmer ticket would be more formidable than a Biden/Kamala ticket.
