"The company is based in Whitefish, Mont., home of Ryan Zinke, the Interior secretary and former member of Congress. Mr. Zinke and Andy Techmanski, the chief executive of Whitefish Energy, know each other, and the secretary’s son worked on a Whitefish job over the summer. Both the company and the Interior Department say the connections had nothing to do with Whitefish getting the Puerto Rico contract."

Zinke is already being investigated for his questionable travel on the tax payer's dime.

It's almost like watching the rats eat as much cheese as they can before having to jump ship! ;)

Nathan Deal was in bankruptcy and his business was a salvage yard in Gainesville, Ga.  He give his business government contracts with no bids for others to have a chance.  Nathan Deal is a multi-millionaire now.  I thought this was the swamp Trump wanted to clean up LOL  They are 2 peas in a pod

Here is what the White Fish is charging:  
A Whitefish contract obtained by The Associated Press found that the deal included $20,277 an hour for a heavy lift Chinook helicopter, $650 an hour for a large crane truck, $322 an hour for a foreman of a power line crew, $319 an hour for a journeyman lineman and $286 an hour for a mechanic. Each worker also gets a daily allowance of $80 for food, $332 for a hotel room and $1,000 for each flight to or from the mainland.  

$286 an hour for a mechanic, $80 daily food allowance, $332 a day for a hotel room!  

I am smelling a real dirty fish

It is a "no bid" contract to restore power to a totally devastated island.     Why "no bid" ?    The company had only 2 employees on payroll.     The company happens  to be located in the same town as one of the turds floating in WH Toilet:  The Interior Secretary.     He says he had nothing to do with the $300 million contract.     So the Puerto Rico Power Authority found this two people manned fish out of nowhere?

Whichever way you look at this, it smells fish.    I am sure it is only the beginning.  Expect that turd to go down the toilet hole pretty soon.    Check his stuffed pockets!

Thanks for the update.      I posted another OP about the Indiana Secretary of State pleading guilty to violating Elections Laws by illegally purging voter rollers in the State.    It should be criminal offense and send him for life, SOB.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that FBI is looking in to this fishy contract.   You want some dessert after you swallow it?    Here it is:

"The company also has ties to the Trump administration. The company is based in and named after the small hometown of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, and the CEO is an acquaintance of the secretary. An investment firm that owns a major stake in the company is run by a donor to Trump's presidential campaign"

Shit Happens!   LOL.
