Can Republicans get a bump out of Bush's convention speech?

If they can, you talk about finding excitement in balsa wood.  The cheering sounded very labored.  No longer am I afraid that Kerry is too dull.  The only two big cheers Yellow Belly got were when he mentioned welcoming the "unborn" and cutting taxes, and those were really for the subjects, not for the delivery or phrasing.

His promises were a boring list of contradictions: such as reforming our tax code to do away with loopholes, and then promising to revive blighted neighborhoods with tax loopholes.  That's my personal favorite.

It looks like Yellow Belly neutralized all the momentum Arnold, Zell and George P. started for him.  I should have known.  Yellow Belly can't say an intelligent thing ever, and he can't make his teleprompted speech sound better than a "Thunderbirds are Go" marionette.

With a hero like Yellow Belly, conservatives will need liberals so as not to die of boredom.

Only to the complacent, I seem upset.  Or is an American duty to be complacent?  Choose the winning team and cheer?  We're now a country of fans instead of citizens.

If they actually lived in the same U.S. I do, they would be hopping mad about things.
