You may be thinking of that other cartoonish character with the orange complexion who always said "Bing-Bing-Bing"

I was looking for something official regarding BB's catch phrase and I found reference to the REAL LIFE "Boop-Oop-A-Doop" girls (Helen Kane, Baby Esther Jones, Gertrude Saunders) that preceded BB. I watched a few BB cartoons on youtube but didn't find the one you linked so I just winged it.
