We've seen the pattern of Trump saying/doing stupid things and anyone who does not accept/condone Trump's stupidity becomes Trump's target. We've seen it happen the way Trump has hijacked the GOP, while they sit idle, observing, but saying nothing about Trump's lies, stupidity, bigotry, and inept handling of presidential affairs.
Now Trump is basing our NATO policy on a grudge he has with Angela Merkel by purportedly withdrawing 12,000 U.S. troops from Germany. Total stupidity on a number of counts. First, Trump's attempt is based upon absolutely NO strategy (not surprising, does Trump ever have a strategy for any major action he proposes--NO) and his false claims about the status quo. Somehow, he must believe he is hurting someone who refused to kiss his ring, by attacking the German economy slightly and symbolically by withdrawing military support.
As with Trump's wall, this is another feeble attempt to appease his supporters. But chances are this withdrawal of 12,000 troops from Germany will NEVER happen. First there is no funding in the military budget to make this happen. Trump already raped the military budget for several billion dollars to pay for the wall that Mexico was going to pay for. This withdrawal would cost billions of dollars. Second, just to come up with a detailed plan (sans funding) of this magnitude, would take several months, much longer than Trump has in office.
So here again, we get a free look at the way Trump's stupid mind works; act based upon childish emotion, spout this stupidity in a tweet and then on TV, and then have no clue what it would take to implement such a stupid idea but know your automatons will fall for it and stand behind you 100 per cent.
Remember Mexico would pay for the wall, the military parade, and all the other stupid shit Trump spouted about? Trump continues to be the worst, most stupid president, we could ever have elected.
