Now another Brit climate research center is accused of distorting the results by leaving out data from their calculations that did not support their premise and over relying on data that did.
All the global warming people said one tainted researcher doesn't matter because others came to similar conclusions. (Of course, many of those were dependent on East Anglia's original reearch.) However, now it appears that other scientists are doing "tricks" with numbers to support the theory.
I guess Gore was wrong. The debate ain't over til the fat lady sings.
You make a simple-minded mistake confusing temperture on any given day with climate, but no matter, it was just filler on your part, and your capezios are probably pinching and distracting you from clear thinking.
I'm thinking by the end of next January these hacked emails will be exposed as BS - just like the ACORN videos. Don't get your tou-tou too far out on a limb on this one.
There is the Thomas Kuhn notion that "normal science" regularly discards data which is discrepant and does not fit with the discipline's governing paradigm of the moment. Which may or may not have some relevance here.

What is sad about this is we all loose!!! The original IPCC report was authored by many scientists who later requested their names be removed from authorship as they realized that the report and summaries of the report were being slanted to present one core proposition - the earth is warming, and this warming is caused only by man's activities. Wow, how anthrophocentric can ya get.... makes one think of the days when we thought the earth was the center of the universe.... right.
So why did they do that? Simply because they did not wish that their names be associated with a false representation of the results of the studies.
Had you even read the article on Paradigm shifts which you provided, you would understand that many poaradigm's still exist side by side with their counterparts... examples?
Theory of spontaneous generation, vs. biogenesis. Even with biogenesis, there has to be spontaneous generation at some point in time... read the works of Juan Oro, or Miller and Urey and a host of others. So, these two theories DO in fact, still exist - both with plenty of evidence to support each.
Theory of evollution as propsed by Lamarck vs Darwin's theory of natural selection as the mechanism for evolution Again, there is a growing body of evidence that there is something to the lamarck theory, perhaps not as he envisioned it, but in a fashion there is evidence that environment can and does play a role in changing the genetic Composition/expression in a given population...
Theory of light as a wave, vs light as a particle... Both are generally regarded as a valid way to understand the properties of light...
BUT ALL of these require looking at ALL of the data to make any sense of any of it.... to discard and ignore data is to not be able to move forward in anyway of searching for the "truth."
As to the Acorn videos... ACORN permitted these operations on their premisis, under their banner. if it were GM or Pfizer or ConAgra, who permitted this sort of Illegal activity promotion on its premisis, you would be the first to call for their demise... and ya know it.
