NEW: Poll finds that 40% of voters say they are likely to support Elon Musk's "America Party" if he decides to launch it, according to Quantus Insights.

The poll comes as Musk has threatened to launch his own political party over recent disagreements with the Republican Party.

"Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people," he recently said in a post on X.
Conservative pundit Steve Deace’s take:
But now let's tell the rest of the story, Paul Harvey.

According to Quantus, interest in @elonmusk potential new party was high, "Particularly among young voters (Republicans are making gains with) and Republican men. Skepticism remains high among older and Democratic voters."

In other words, all this will likely do is hand national elections to Democrats. Which is exactly why I strongly urge Elon to invest heavily in GOP primaries instead. That will be far less costly in time and treasure, and actually more beneficial to his cause.

It said 41% of Americans identified as Independent, with Dems and Reps only reaching 27% each.
I'd say especially if the Republicans foist this huge, steaming pile of shit on America with their BBB, even more Republicans will abandon them for a new party.

If the BBB is successful in curing the country's ills, the GOP will remain in power for the next 12 years.  If it doesn't work, the Dems will take over in 2028 and turn this country back into an open-border shit-hole.

run in 1992, Bill Clinton would have never been elected President in 1991, and we would have had four more years of George H W Bush.

…Bill Clinton would never have been elected President…”

Why no link to this assertion?  Because CDL pulled it out of his ass and flung it onto the board like a monkey flinging poo.

Here’s a link proving Perot did not cause Bush to lose the election:

Willl CDL back up his OP with a link to FACTS which prove his assertion?  Of course not!
See CDL.
See CDL run.
Run, CDL, run!

run by a UC Berkeley guy who used to write for the NY Times.  Why not just use Raw Story for your source?  I'm sure they agree with this guy.  You couldn't find any major legitimate news source to back up this claim?  I checked with RCP, and they said they don't know and because there are so many factors involved, we may NEVER know.  The real news places are not in line with your source, so what gives on that front?  Why did you pick this guy?  Is he the only one that supports the narrative you are HOPING for?

You try to shoot the messengers because you can’t contradict the link.

According to their LinkedIn profiles, neither of the authors went to UC Berkeley nor did they work for the New York Times.  More CDL bullshit.

Keep running, CDL.

Makes no attempt at all to rebut BigP's point.

…what “shoot the messenger” means.  CDL didn’t criticize the message, I.e, the substance of the article.  Instead, he attempted to shoot the messengers - the authors of the article.

CKS175’s post was almost as weak as CDL’s.

Look at BigPapasans’s reply. The topic is “shooting the messenger”.

Can ChicKenShit REALLY have missed the rest of BPS' sentence, which reads: "because you can’t contradict the link."
ChicKie is such a hack he's only good at busting himself with blatant distortions.
