100 shooting deaths this weekend in Chicago, and five of them children, and yet the Dem politicians are still talking about defunding police departments in "Blue" cities across the US.

There were a hundred shootings in Chicago, actually I think the exact number was 102, but "only" 14 deaths, a huge number for a single weekend in a single city, but a far cry from the number you claim

I should have attached the link.  You are correct.  I misremembered it from the news this morning.  I hereby adopt your numbers, but the way they were reporting it this morning, it still seemed like a big deal.  I don't know what the normal average is.  Maybe because there were kids involved, they were playing it up more.  But, all in a day's work for a "blue" city.

...say: "I misremembered it from the news this morning."  You either heard it or saw it on the news this morning so there was no link.  YOU HAD NO LINK TO ATTACH.   And even if you did attach a link, it would not have shown 100 people killed.

It's only a stupid placard carried by a few Antifa types. What it really means is to re-structure the police, change the way policing is done and move some jobs, like dealing with drug overdoses and domestic disputes to more socially-oriented agencies. This was done in Camden a few years ago and crime went DOWN.
What you are dishonestly doing is helping Republicans scare people into thinking Democrat's want to shut down police departments. They DON'T.
But this is what Republicans do, glom onto a phrase and make it sound like it means something it doesn't. Same with Black Lives Matter. You fucks want to make people believe it also means White Lives DON'T Matter, when all it ever meant was Black Lives Matter, Too.
