That is why he requested politicians to stay out of his state until things were completely under control. But, you know Trump--states really shouldn't have the power to react to emergencies like floods and storms, and by gosh when he's president he'll see to it that governors don't get out of line.

Why can't we just tell Trump that he can't be president? If we settled that right now we could avoid the cost and confusion of the rest of the campaign and securing the election process from hackers?

Better than having the Pentagon break the news to him if the machines are sufficiently hacked so that it looks like he won the election. That would not look good.

This is a very assertive woman that Trump just promoted, a woman that wants to prove to the rest of the political operatives' world that she can tame the tiger, and a woman whose expertise Trump appears to trust more then he did Corey's or Manafort's which worries me immensely. If new campaign manager is able to focus her boss in such a way that Trump remains Trump just enough but begins to show "compassion" (which in reality he has zero to none of) many suburbanites just could begin to fall for his scam. Because Hillary's support is soft soft soft...

...considering that it's only August, considering the election year we had, unpredictability of Donald Trump and that Hillary's support is notoriously soft.

I also very much hope that Hillary's people don't think the way you do. They already screwed up once in 2008 with feeling too comfortable with their lead.

Obama just doesn't like to fake it, he believes he can monitor the situation as well — or better — from where he is. And that the sole reason to go to Louisiana is for the theatrical piece of politics, a piece that he not only rejects but detests.

Now please name another disaster in which Trump has assisted or donated a truckload of supplies in recent memory.  I bet you cannot.
