Many are probably aware of a "superseding indictment" that adds new charges and a third defendant in the Mar-A-Lago document retention and obstruction case.

"The Boss Wants It Deleted." New Charges In The Documents Case.
.
The actual legal filing, PDF here:
http://www.justice.gov/storage/US-v-Trump-Nauta-De-Oliveira-23-80101.pdf
says on page 29:

DE OLIVEIRA told Trump Employee 4 that "the boss" wanted the server deleted. Trump Employee 4 responded that he would not know how to do that, and that he did not believe that he would have the rights to do that. Trump Employee 4 told DE OLIVEIRA that DE OLIVEIRA would have to reach out to another employee who was a supervisor of security for TRUMP's business organization. DE OLIVEIRA then insisted to TRUMP Employee 4 that "the boss" wanted the server deleted and asked, "what are we going to do?"

Many legal analysts, including former prosecutors from various Federal jurisdictions, said that an indictment does not use QUOTE MARKS unless it is a real quote supported by evidence / testimony. (A recent thread on "scare quotes" was deleted from General. Of course, that would make the quotes REAL SCARY QUOTES to the Trump defense.) That is, Employee 4 is probably the source of the quotes and will testify, if necessary, to those exchanges.
.
But the question remains: Why did The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, want the server deleted? Will he be called on to testify ... for the Prosecution or for the Defense?
