Bush claimed by his statement that raising the taxes on the rich will not accomplish anything because they will just evade the taxes by using smart tax attorneys.  And he is right because I myself do it and am very proud of it, especially my accountant.  God bless him, and all other scheister tax attorneys out there.
So if the rich are already using the scheister tax attorneys to evade taxes to begin with, whats the point of lowering rich people's taxes. They already evade taxes according to Bush's logic.
Those were his words, not mine!!!!!

Keep in mind Im actually for W's tax cuts!!  What I found hilarious was a line I heard yesterday while W was speaking at one of his rallies.  Of course the people in the crowd who cheered are also the same morons that bought the "Iraq is a threat to us" logic but listen to this one---
W said," Kerry wants to raise taxes on the rich, and you know what that means??  The rich get lawyers and accountants and the middle class is left with the bill.  I will not allow that to happen."  Of course like a bunch of idiots they started cheering and clapping.
Doesn't that beg the question that if, by his logic the rich pay less taxes because of good lawyers and accountants then why give them a tax cut to begin with??  Wouldn't that just be another way for those accountants and lawyers to pass the buck onto the middle class??  Personally, I know what he is talking about because all my money comes from real estate where money is very very easy to hide.  I probably paid less in taxes than someone who earns around 60k, though I earned a lot more that.  And I love my accountant for it.
It was just funny to see idiots who are already left with the bill to cheer W on when by his own logic they got stuck with a much bigger bill.
  W for 4 more year!!!!!!!!!

The rich don't pay their fair share so they deserve a tax cut.

Actually, the "rich" pay more proportion than the non-rich - but since they have more expenses & stuff they have more deductions - I too have some income property & you would be amazed on what I can deduct.

But to the statement, you give the "rich" a tax break & then they don't have to hide the income & it deflates the sails of all those CPA's & tax attorneys who are hired to hide & reduce the already suffocating tax burden.  If the tax code were simpler then you woudn't need experts to go through & find the loopholes and the importance of tax cuts would be minimized.

I hate to ask, what is a fair share? I pay approximately 33% Federal tax, plus 6% state tax. That's almost 40% of my gross income not counting property and school taxes or FICA that's 14.5% of the first 90k or so. That seems like my fair share to me. I didn't get the child credit last year, even with 3 kids, I earned too much money. And to top it all off money spent on escorts isn't deductible.

Have another vodka. Maybe next time you make a post you will make more sense!
