Parker-Hale 30x6, Beretta Silver Snipe 20 ga, Remington 1200, 12ga pump, M1 Garand, M1A1, M1 Carbine, (illegal in NJ, but who says it is in NJ, lol), Mauser K98, AK-47, (VN souvenir), AR-15. After posting this, I'll be expecting a knock on my door.
I acquired/inherited a few through a deceased relative years ago. They are just sitting around collecting dust. I'm no expert, so I'm just reading what's on the box.
I have a Ruger stainless Vaquero single action 45 caliber revolver with a rosewood grip. How about a HK USP 40 caliber pistol. I also have a couple of Colts. One is a Navy Colt revolver, and the other is a Combat Elite. I have another that looks like it was from the Wyatt Earp days.
I have nothing against theoretical politics; that's all very lovely. A link to a news story, talk about this, talk about that, lots and lots of talk. But as an experiment, I was thinking I'd try something different here, inspired by Willy's prior post.
So show us your guns! What guns do you personally own? Do you name them?
the only problem was at a range of anything more than about 10 feet, you were better off throwing the damn thing at your assailant. lol
I carry an older model Glock currently, as the newer models by law only have a ten round capacity, mine has the 17 round clips. One in the chamber and two full clips, equal 35 rounds of firepower. A rather comforting fact if one ever finds themself in a firefight. Especially since even a rather casual marksman like myself can still put every round in the black at 25 yards, even with these old eyes.
It was the only handgun I ever owned that I could take target practice at 100 yds, and even hit the paper. lol
I also owned the 41 and 357 models as well, but without the 11 inch barrel. Truth be told the 44 mag was the easiest to shoot, the damn 357 felt like a damn cannon going off in my hand. I almost always used wadcutters for target practice, but carried fucking hot loads for defense, "just in case" lol
I’m going to have the NRA declared to be a terrorist organization.
Then I am going to shift our current budget for drone warfare to the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms Agency and instruct them to confiscate everyone of your firearms.
Then I’m going to hold McCarthy- like hearings and call each one of you as a witness and ask “who do you know” is a member of this terrorist group.
In the meantime, I want you all to take a “gun safety” course with Willy’s co-worker, mentor, and that consummate professional DEA agent Lee Page. Be sure to wear your bulletproof vests when he demonstrates the “unloaded gun” and don’t step in the blood.
Can you actually ship guns via Fedex and UPS? I haven't gone through the "selling" tutorial. This is not an area where I care to become an expert.
I have the purchase receipt. It was purchased back in 1995 for $609 in Scottsdale AZ. Why am I not surprised. I assume the only other places to sell are gun shows, gun shops and pawn shops? Me, my guns, in a Lexus, and in a seedier part of town. This just keeps getting better. Now I have to figure out how many friends I need to take with me so I don't get carjacked or gunjacked (lol).
I have several safes full of 'em. Hey, it's my (after tax) money -- I can spend it on guns if that floats my boat and I'm not using them to disturb the peace. The STD risk is zero. My chemistry lab costs a lot more.
try gunbroker.com. But remember if you sell outside your state you'll have to transfer it to an FFL inside your state. Remember to make the buyer pay the FFL fees. I really shouldn't ask, but how much do you want for that Combat Elite?

Is that gun ownership seems very broad on this board irrespective of political leanings. It's not surprising that many of the right-of-center posters have guns. Bu so do many of the posters who have expressed left wing positions. Just an observation. My late Dad, a died-in-the-wool Liberal, had an extensive collection that included two Walthers, a Colt .45 Magnum and the Colt 1911 that's now mine. No big message here, it's just interesting.
