cuz Journalists come from the

bottom 20% of any college class (along with English, recreation and African-American studies majors)

so, to compensate for being intellectually limited they are taught to be arrogant and condescending for no reason

most are as dumb as a sack of hair ;)

... the "media" now includes a plethora on online fake news sites (on both sides of the political aisle). And sadly there are many people that don't discern between the legitimate sites and the fake ones. A recent study by the Stanford Historical Group showed that of the college students they interviewed 80% couldn't tell the difference
