Trump negotiated with the Taliban. Biden is negotiating with the Taliban. There’s no way to withdraw without negotiating with them.
What Biden is getting roasted for is his execution of the withdrawal. He rejected Pentagon advice and shut down Bagram in the dark of night, for starters. It’s been a shit show since then.

So as usual Trump has knee capped US and what Biden has inherited is a loser’s position - there is no negotiation left or if any it is from the position of weakness.
