See, the NYT isn't the NY Post, Washington Times, they have conservative writers (Brooks, Kristol) & aren't afraid to call out Democrats..
I don't like Obama's position either on Faith based initiatives - but he is still (way) better than the Republican nominee....
But I don't blame him at all for bypassing public funding...Republican 527's have an endless spicket of money from which to draw, & he needs to be able to fight their scare attack ads no doubt coming...
Its funny because during the Democratic primary, Obama was painted by the media as the favored one by so many media outlets over Hillary. Now that he has the nomination, things are starting to take a spin. The interview that he let his daughters give and then his thoughts after the interview have been playing on the news all day. The fact that he and Hillary have just casts two opposing votes in the Senate have also caused quite a stir. And the fact that he and Hillary are both in NYC fundraising for his campaign and to retire her debt has been a big topic in the media today too.
