Bannon just said there is nothing "Deep" about the Deep state.  Its just a bunch of career bureaucrats who are easy to spot.  The problem is getting them to do their jobs without political bias.  The swamp runs deep.

Deep State are FBI and CIA employees who are illegally spying on and unmasking American citizens with a warrant, or in the alternative, lied to get FISA warrants by misleading the courts.

Obama under the bus yesterday when he said on one of the fake news outlets that they "were just doing what Obama told them to do."  Talk about disloyalty, but I guess when you can feel the noose tightening like Clapper and Brennen, they are not going to go down without taking some of their accomplices with them.
