I recently ran across a group that is working to promote and defend beautiful women in the world.  Quoting from their page:

They have apparently won at least one major victory, saving the life of an Iranian wife who was to hanged because she killed a man trying to rape her.  I have provided a link to that story.

Included therein is another link to the story of a 16-year old unmarried girl being hanged for adultery (?!), a case covered up by the authorities but brought out by outraged Iranian citizens.

While the Iranian situation is clearly more extreme than what we have in the U.S., we are still closer here to the Iranian point of view than most of the other countries of the world.

Is this not a cause that we all have some interest in?
