The Signal leak was a major fuck up. The optics of the aftermath would have been much better if they had held someone accountable earlier. Will be interesting to see how Trump handles the firings in his remarks.

You can tell how important a position is by the office's proximity to the MFIC. Susie Wiles, Chief of Staff, J. D. Vance, VP, and the National Security Advisor's office are all located in the West Wing. As Ambassador to the U.N., Waltz will be relocated to N.Y., away from Donny 2 Dolls and the important decision making. Make no mistake, it's a demotion gaslighted as a promotion to Trump's base.

Although he hasn't said much, it appears Trump has opened the taps on providing more arms aid to Ukraine. For example, a Ukrainian transport plane was seen in Arizona loading decommissioned F16 fuselages, which it then flew to Poland. The US Air Force acknowledged they would be used to provide parts to keep Ukraine's F16s donated by European countries flying. Or to be used as decoys, as the article below suggests.
Putin has misplayed his hand and it happened before Walz's "promotion" as UN Ambassador was announced.

Waltz made the mistake of giving advice to a President who already knows everything, particular about Putin/Russia.
