I certainly am.  Obama hasn't even been sworn in for his second term and already he is demonstrating his lack of intent to negotiate/compromise with Congress.  Hell, he isn't even talking them at the moment and instead is back on the campaign trail with revised sound bites.  And the repubs are out drawing their lines in the sand as well.  All this BS while the fiscal cliff is weeks away, deficit spending about to run out of money again like every year for past five years.  What in the hell is wrong with these people?  And worse, America had the opportunity to fix this crap once and for all and they pretty much abdicated and put the same bunch of bull headed egotistical right back in office.  And now we're getting the same BS.  Where does it fricken end.

Well as I see it, the current approach by both sides sucks.  Everybody will lose.  And while Obama certainly won the election based on electoral college, he really only represents roughly half the folks who voted.  He got about half the votes and the other side got about half the votes.  So, for me, he needs to compromise and thus represent everyone.  Likewise for the repubs, they need to do the same.

I mean, what's so fricken damn difficult about saying okay, let's raise the tax rate on the rich by a few percent.  Let's downsize all the damn handouts that motivates some folks not to work.  Let's get rid of pork.  Let's get rid of regulations that are not working as intended but still cost business money.... etc....   Seems like a pretty obvious agenda that needs to happen and yet these fools are all eating the testorine pills acting like wild apes in the jungle.  Fuck em all.
