Does Elon know anything about politics?

Now he is out there saying Trump might authorize $5,000 checks to households. Let's leave aside the fact that that move would be highly inflationary, because we all know how Rs feel about that topic. Ahem.
.
But when that $5,000 check doesn't materialize, and Trump gets bombarded with questions about why those checks didn't go out, or were less than promised, that will be yet another issue that breaks up this gross bromance.

There are IDEAS that are being floated on conversation to see what issues are the hot buttons to help the American Taxpayers.  Musk has no more authority to make any of these kinds of decisions than Chuck Schumer does.

When people hear that they may get 5gs, and then don't, they are going to be upset and blame someone. I can assure you of that. Maybe you don't need that money. Many Americans do.
.
You don't float ideas like that publicly bc that makes you look disingenuous to the voter when they eventually don't happen. You talk about them PRIVATELY, so someone smart in the room can push back on it. The is politics 101 so of course you don't understand it.

We can't do it YET because the deep state Dems are still hiding money and going to court to block transparency.

From a google search; I didn't click on the x page:

Very simple word, groceries. Like almost—you know, who uses the word? I started using the word—the groceries. ... I won an election based on that.”"
"In a recent interview with Time magazine, Donald ****Trump walked back his campaign promise to lower grocery prices.**** "Look, they got them up. I'd like to bring them down. It's hard to bring things down once they're up. You know, it's very hard," Trump told Time, admitting to what many of us knew months ago."

Trump is a firehose of lies and false promises. It is easy to sanewash MAGA cult members who buy (literally buy, by paying to purchase any piece of crap from the Trump Griftshop) Trump's propaganda and Trump's excuses: "Biden's fault." "Pelosi's fault." "Dem's fault." "I never said that." "Biden's fault." "Ka-mabla's fault." "Schumer's fault." "Biden's fault." "Not my fault." "Fauci's fault." ...

Trump says he loves the idea of a “DOGE Dividends” payback to the American taxpayers.
