Any thoughts on what forces were behind the soccer riot in Egypt

Was it just a result of the overall instability, was it just another rabid bunch of soccer fans, or was it a staged incident that was pulled off by forces behind the scenes that were operating with a political motive.

Hard to say I suppose.

My vote is on "rabid soccer fans" but I suppose anything is possible given the political instability of Egypt and the region in general.

Actually there are soccer riots all the time. You just don't see massive deaths. You should see some of the shit that happens in Europe. This kind of stuff makes my Oakland Raider fans look like absolute angels. And most of them are graduates of San Quentin, Pelican Bay, and Folsom.

P.S. Now if Hope Solo plays topless, then maybe I'll watch.

The same is true in hockey, but at least you can be sure a fight will break out in the game itself and not just in the stands.  And if you think Raiders fans are tough, bring some of them to the Blue Seats at a Ranger's game.  They will look like the remains of a cow after a school of Piranhas is done with it.

They're all yawn fests, as far as I'm concerned. You know what's fucking exciting? Curling. :)

Or is that "excrement?"

Don't worry, my time to give you grief is short - UCLA has the number 4 and 38 prospects signed for next year and is still in the running for Shabazz Muhammad, the number one guy.

If they get him, it will be a return to the John Wooden days, at least for a year.

Duke's got nothing coming in next year.

Both for the half +1 1/2 and the game +3, It's not how you play the game, It's whether or not you cover the Goddamned spread. lol

Oh well, at least I loaded up on the Gators first half/Over and did the same with the San Jose sharks gave the puck line along with the over, so the night was not a total loss.
