Why would the "millions who worship Trump" not feel totally betrayed by him if he's a big enough pussy to drop out, then vote for Ryan as a better alternative to Clinton? I hope he stays in the race, which seems like a sure way for Clinton to win
Could it be time for the dems to shift their strategy and lighten up on Trump, at least in the near term? If Trump is pressed too hard, rumor turns into reality, and Trump does drop out, what next? Chances are Ryan would be the republican nominee. If so Clinton would probably lose for sure.
In light of recent developments, maybe the democrats will think it is time to take it easy on Trump.
The only problem is that the next episode of Donald Trump's Great Adventure will no doubt prove to be so outrageous that nobody will be able to resist tuning in for laughs and gasps. Face it, comedy is king this election.
Clinton, like Trump is her own worst enemy. The less of her we see, and the more of Obama, Bill Clinton, et al campaigning for her the better her chances are.
The biggest problem Clinton faces is her own untrustworthiness factor and the fact that people just plain don't like her when they see or hear her. She is just not very good at hiding the fact that she is a lying, duplicitous cunt. It's written all over her and it's the reason an unknown like Barrack Obama was able to beat her 8 years ago.
However, how about millions of disgruntled Trump & Cruz supporters sitting out the election ? Ryan didn't run in the primaries, is he now entitled to be "anointed" ?
Given these facts, who knows if Ryan would accept the nomination ?
