A Letter to the Editor

To All American Voters,

I am a senior citizen.  During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely good and well paying job. I took numerous vacations and had several vacation homes. Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for the worse.

    I lost my job.
I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War.
    I lost my homes.
    I lost my health insurance.

As a matter of fact I lost virtually everything and became homeless. Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me.  I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year.  Bush has to go.

I just thought you would like to know how one senior citizen views the Bush Administration.

Thank you for taking time to read my letter.

    Sincerely,
    Saddam Hussein

When I talk about adult development in other posts, James86 and GOPGeezer make the point I drive to for me.

I realized one of the main reasons I support Kerry is the predominance of intellect over ... well, you can name this post as you please.

OK, I'll name your post:

condescending, arrogant, haughty, egotistic, pretentious, etc...

I'll stand by my assertion that James86's post and most of Geezers are simply silly. Instead of facts and analysis, they reflect ... something else.  Let me be clear: I don't respect this perspective.  I just don't.  Do you? Can you summarize the positions they take and cull out guiding vision and the supporting moral and intellectual principles?

So, call me condescending, arrogant, haughty, etotistic, pretentous, etc.  These, and worse, and better, are all true.  My posts stand as they are.  And the perception I made about this post reflects my earnest assessment of what I read.  Let the chips fall where they may.

In spite of J86's high SAT scores, I agree with you regarding the content of his posts (not so much silly, but ... something else).  His hypocrisy is non-measurable (I mean, even in the mathematical sense).

The Geeze is mostly silly (funny sometimes).

It's great to see you can admit to your ``flaws'' (though I think you are just being generous to your accuser).  Obviously, admitting to a flaw, mistake, error, etc. is not a Republican trait.

The opinions of sanctimonious boobs who cannot spell always impresses me.

Apparently the concept of humor is beneath you.

But hey, touche (forgive the absence of the accent).  I'm hardly losing sleep over the lack of respect of a leftwing whoremonger (and before you say it, yeah, I'm a rightwing whoremonger) whose idea of sound public policy is allowing foreign threats to fester and grow, and to promote socialism at home.  The absence of respect goes both ways.

... I wish I hadn't written it.  Yesterday was a supremely tough day (16 yr old daughter creates havoc) and I wrote something that betrays my own best sense of things.

My apologies, James86.
