Too many polls showing that a majority thinks Iraq had WMD's, believe Shrub, or think that they are in more danger of a terrorist attack than anything else.

Makes me very sad.

As much as I miss ya, bud...I think most people would read this that yes, you ARE better off, because you found TER.

Or are you referring to your finances... :)

Say hi to Bill for me. :)

I've got one more rambuncious son in my life.
Personal income is up.
Personal taxes are lower.
Extra income opportunities are looking good.
I'm living in a larger and better house.
My wife is always horny!
Life is good.

My salary and net worth now are the highest in my lifetime.  I have plenty of disposable income for the hobby and more.

I used to be so introverted and a wallflower, now I'm out meeting new people all the time.

And I bought my own place last year, after years of renting.

Life is all good.

That under the Bush Administration you get screwed more often (by providers, that is).

and you give g.w. bushie credit for your new found success ? or was it things YOU took control of ?

meaning bushie's $300 tax refund really turned your life around that much huh ?

Or was it hard work and dedication of YOURS that made the progress and prosperity you find yourself enjoying ?

I ask because honestly, I think yours and RTLW's are more exceptions than the rule, of how bushies handling of the domestic economy has effected most people.

Make Half what I made under Clinton
Am in danger now with new set back of losing house
Locals schools are so bad I spend all my available money on Private schools
Get messed with when I travel as a Mid Eastern looking male
Have to apologise and supplicate when talking to Euro friends and family
Have no more money to hobby
Traffic worse
Drug prices higher
Watch my country go morally and financially bankrupt
Knowing our soldiers are dying in Iraq for NO REAL REASON!

only a third as many as were murdered because, among other things, we had eight years of Democrat limp-wrists in charge of foreign policy prior to Bush's election.  Plus 50 million people who now are free.

And BTW, isn't that about a thousand who put on the uniform knowing that they were making themselves targets?  I feel for their families, but their choice was one made with open eyes, and deserves more respect that those who would surrender in the face of adversity.

It is just that it is hard for me to get excited about it when it is a myth for so many.

A) Bush Equally or more culpable for 9/11 issues as Clinton- if Clinton HAD acted you and I both KNOW you and your ilk would say it was to divert attention away from Lewinski tempest in teapot- so don't act so smug.

B) Implied agreement for soldiery with Pres not to be thrown away for NO REASON.  Iraq Adventure TOTALLY UNRELATED to 9/11 so promise not kept!

C) Surrender?  PLease save up hobby money and buy a clue. No Americans advocate a surrender to Terrorists of any stripe.  But we all do need to get over ourselves and take casualties in a properly run campaign, not the cluster fuck we are doing now!

During Clinton, I earned under 30k a year, now it's close to 100k & have a substantial NW - it's due to the works of Bush.

A)  Bush as responsible as Clinton?!?!?  Bush didn't turn down a chance to get bin Laden, which (I think, but I could be wrong) occurred after the Senate cravenly acquitted the perjurer.  The Lewinsky thing was over by early 1998; what was Clinton's excuse for inaction after that?

B)  "Implied agreement"?!?!?  Their only "agreement" is to take orders from the Commander in Chief.  "NO REASON."  Don't confuse reasons with which you disagree with "NO REASON."  "Iraq ... TOTALLY UNRELATED to 9/11"?  Yeah, you're right.  No one says (or said) it is.  But just because you and other far Lefties choose to continue to lie about what the Administration said about justifying its actions doesn't mean that the Administration did.  The Administration was enforcing a dozen separate UN resolutions, and on the growing threat of terrorism because of links between al Qaeda and Saddam.

C)  "Surrender"?  Yeah, you bet.  You appeasement advocates are so pathetically limp-wristed (yeah, call me a "homophobe," too!) that you can't even recognize that what little substance you offer on Iraq is tantamount to "surrender" in the face of adversity.

As to "properly run campaign," you unwittingly suggest a valid point of debate.  Unfortunately, you suggest that point in a utterly conclusory way.  And your utter failure to make an argument on the point is drowned out by your vile, hateful, and contemptuous rhetoric towards anyone who doesn't share your visceral hatred of the President.

give credit to Bush, anymore than I give credit to Clinton because I was better off four and eight years after his election as President, or because of the election of any politician.

Is my country better off?  In many ways, immeasurably.  And that's the most important question.  First and foremost, we have an Administration that's actually willing to do something to protect Americans and the United States against foreign threats.  Nearly as importantly, the federal government is not confiscating as much of my income.
