Religion is created smart people to control dumb people's life and

to take their money to live lavishly. In all honesty, religion promotes helplessness in people and promotes the false belief, if you pray to a higher being (who ever that is), their problems are going to go away and they will get what they want.

Isn't it oxymoron? Some telling the poor, they need to help themselves by taking responsibility while preaching religion.

For peace, prosperity and eradication of poverty, eradicate religion first. Man made religion has done nothing beneficial. On the other hand, it has done the opposite very well.
