So these states are suing the Trump administration over the 2020 Census citizenship question so far:
-California
-Connecticut
-Delaware
-Illinois
-Massachusetts
-New Jersey
-New Mexico
-New York
-Oregon
-Pennsylvania
-Rhode Island
-Washington

VOTES VOTES VOTES. Dems are now turning their backs on the DACA people. Wasn't that their big push when they were trying to avert the government shutdown? Now it's dust in the wind.

Re: why do they protect Illegals and not Citizens?

...because it increases their representation.  Or more specifically, the Politicians currently in power in those states gain their jobs by counting Non-Citizens as the same as citizens, allowing them to out-vote Americans in representation proportion.   If we accurately count, those who rely in information kept in the shadows won't benefit, and that makes them MAD.  So they will sue, and some illegitimate Federal Judge, who views their loyalty to the Resistance! as more important than their oath to the Constitution, will affirm, and it will go to SCOTUS...

Then just Gerrymander the district. Do it quick before the courts find out how Un-Constitutional it is.

Spankys xenophobic rhetoric has a lot of immigrants very worried about their status, their very livelihood.  Contrary to the insane belief that all immigrants are bad and are hurting America, the actual statistics show that less than 100th of one percent are actually criminals and most of those are already in jail.   America is built by immigrants.  It is one of our greatest strengths and anybody with half a brain cell knows this.  Hell we all love Russian hookers don’t we?

The question has been included in prior censuses, the last time was in 1959s during the McCarthy debacle.  With Sparky pulling a Hitler move with Jews being replaced by Latinos and Muslims, many in the immigrant community are worried that if they answer such a question, they will be subjected to unlawful authoritarian scrutiny and suffer by it.

The question of citizenship is basically irrelevant and antithetical to the purposes of the census in the first place. It can only lead to the immigrant community being more distrusting of the authorities, which in turn leads to increased difficulty for law enforcement to deal with crimes in those communities.  Many people will just not answer the census forms which leads to underfunded education and Medicaid programs.

That is of course the real reason Spanky’s administration is insisting on the question being asked.  He wants as many Americans as possible to be sick and uneducated. It’s the only way the Right can get votes.

not a damn thing wrong with those here legally.

the rest are just parasites on taxpaying citizens.

I'd like to know how many don't belong.

There is no proposed question about immigration status nor could there be under the 5th and 14th amendments.  It’s just about citizenship not whether the person is documented to be here or not.

So your logic in this falls to its fiery death.  I did not mean illegal immigrants.
