1) Hegseth's colleagues at Fox have told reporters his drinking caused problems on the job.
2) There are now six Senators telling NBC they have doubts about being able to vote in favor of Hegseth's nomination.

It turns out that, in addition to having paid a settlement for an alleged rape, Hegseth also allegedly mis-used funds at two of the veterans groups he ran AND was "repeatedly intoxicated" while acting in his official capacity.

The very conservative Koch Brothers, financial backers of the CVA, had CEO Hegseth fired.

We need folks like Robert Gates and Leon Panetta to lead such a vast, complex, vital organization.

Seriously, she does. Now that I’ve looked into this and I realize it’s all one big smear by the lame stream, go Pete GO! 🤷🏻‍♂️

His lawyer appeared on CNN and clarified that it wasn’t an NDA, it was a confidential settlement. He said they have grounds to sue her for breach of confidentiality.

U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal is accusing Pete Hegseth’s attorney, Timothy Parlatore, of witness intimidation because Parlatore suggested that Hegseth may sue the woman who accused him of sexual assault and received a settlement if he doesn’t get confirmed.
