one thing I like about this guy was that he was a fan of sci-fi writer Robert Heinlein who I enjoyed reading in my youth. Heinlein was an early proponent of Libertarianism; tell ya this, I'd much rather read "Starship Troopers" than suffer through "Atlas Shrugged" ( my apologies to John Galt------;)

But it should be understood that Objectivism considers Libertarianism to be a perversion of the concept of liberty.

That notwithstanding, Heinlein rocks! My current favorite sci-fi writer is (naturally) Terry Goodkind with Branden Sanderson running a close second.

Sorry to hear about Mr. Nolan -- he was a good guy.
