I recommend national vanguard.org as an alternative news source. Give it a week or two and you'll be hooked...

Yahoo is decent.

Certainly not from Fox, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, the LA Times, The NY Times, the Washington Post, or other imagined and/or real CIA assets.

Closest to mainstream is the Beeb. Although sometimes I find them a little too shrill for even my taste, they do a better job of getting to the truth than most:
