This week a court sentenced Joshua and Kelly Ziminski to 20 months in prison for burglary and robbery with threat of force charges that they pleaded guilty to in May. Other charges were dropped in exchange for a plea deal, according to Fox 6.  

In the heat of the 2020 riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Joshua Ziminski fired a "warning shot" just before Kyle Rittenhouse shot three men in self-defense. Ziminski was out of bail for his involvement in the riots when he and his wife went on the crime spree that earned them 7 felony charges

 Joshua denied having a weapon on him. Kelly was on probation and Joshua was out on bond pending trial for charges of Arson (Felony), Disorderly Conduct / Use of a Dangerous Weapon (Misdemeanor), and Obstructing an officer during the 2020 riots.

Just scanning the article, it sounds like the normal course of justice:
Investigate, Indict if justified, Prosecute (to a guilty verdict, not guilty verdict, or plea agreement), Plea Agreement, Sentence, Incarcerate.

For the life of me, I will never understand the left’s insanity on this. What Rittenhouse did was the most clear cut, perfect case of self defense that there ever was. The most obnoxious thing about the whole ordeal was that anyone prosecuted Rittenhouse. As soon as the prosecutor saw the tape he should have dropped the case. How partisan do you have to be to say the guy who was getting mugged by multiple rioters was the one who committed a crime when if Rittenhouse had waited one extra second to pull the trigger he would have been dead. I realize the left are clueless about how self defense works, but c’mon. You’d think you’d guys would figure it out by now. When it’s 3 against 1 or 10 against 1 or 20 against 1, then it’s absurd in the extreme to say that the 1 murdered anyone when an actual mob is trying to murder them.

What was he doing in the middle of a full scale riot? He didn't even live there. Not even in the same state. He said he went there to defend a specific store. But I guess that got too boring so he went out for a stroll with his AR. If you don't think he was looking for trouble you're a naive buffoon. He put himself in jeopardy then shot his way out. He's responsible.

...because everyone knows that American citizens are not allowed to be out on the street when felons are destroying your neighborhood. Rittenhouse went there to help prevent a gas station from getting burned down, and to offer first aid to people injured in the riot. When he put out a fire that rioters had set in an attempt to blow up said gas station, that's when they began chasing him, one of whom bashed him over the head with a skateboard and the other had pulled out a gun, pointed it at Rittenhouse and was about to shoot him. Rittenhouse fired in self defense. Rittenhouse's presence there was 100% legal. Him being assaulted by rioters was 100% illegal. The attack on him was initiated by the rioters. Rittenhouse attempted to retreat until he could no longer do so. It was TEXTBOOK self defense. Like, you can not get a more clear cut case of self defense than this.

Like Snopes and Fact Check with peer reviewed scientific research? Journalists can’t even follow their own code of ethics. They lie so much that they’re putting themselves out of business across the board. That’s the gold standard to you? You know what would be neat. If we could take a look at what Fact Check and Snopes said about Iraqi WMDs. Or if Covid came from a lab. Or if Putin order a bounty on US troops in Afghanistan. Or if gun shot victims were dying in emergency rooms because hospitals were overwhelmed by patients taking horse dewormer. Or if Russia stole the election for Trump. Or if BLM rioters weren’t spreading Covid in super spreader events, but that Trump rallies were.

You are just annoyed he aired out some looser lefties that you identify with. Looser lefties who were the ones out looking for trouble that night.  Not a one of them was there "peacefully protesting" on behalf of... oh wait the black guy with the knife the cops (you know that group known as law enforcement, you supposedly also Identify with) told him to drop LOL !!!  

All these asshats came after Rittenhouse after he single-handedly extinguished a dumpster fire these assholes were pushing into a gas station in an attempt to burn down said gas station. Joseph Rosenbaum screamed at Rittenhouse "WHY DID YOU DO THAT???" just after Rittenhouse put out the flames. It was at that point That Rosenbaum went after Rittenhouse. So what should Rittenhouse have done let them burn down the gas station? Let Rosenbaum attack him?

Oh, wait I know why you hate Rittenhouse soooo much. He showed courage in the face of adversity. You know that thing which you didn't do when you avoided the draft to get out of going to Vietnam.  At the Battle of Sterling, you were one of the Scotts who didn't listen to William Wallace and ran away.
