It is about the money. They split all the time for power and control. The leaders of the organization charge a head tax (tithe) to the member churches. If you want to pick a good fight confront them on tithing.

You seem to speak against peoples beliefs and religous freedoms all the time. Its a fact that if people choose to read and believe the bible they were born with that right in America.
As for the ban of the mosque at ground zero that I was insulted over here are a couple articles you might want to read. It opened actually in Sept 2011.

Here is another one, corruption is common in All religions it seems.

I saw this in another thread and didn't want to hijack it so I'm starting my own.

"Christians do not claim to know God's will."

 Baloney.

There are over 38,000 sects of their fairy tale and they all have different interpretations and claim, "It's OBVIOUS that MY view of the Bible is RIGHT."

God's will or mind?  Same thing.

They claim "God REALLY meant THIS in this passage" and there are numerous ways to spin it.

One of my favorite ways to play what I call Stump a Thumper:

Me:  Do Thumpers know the will/mind of God?

 T:  Of course not.

Me:  So, if I said that your God visited me yesterday and said, "Laffy, I'm disgusted with all the so-called Christians.  They go against the Bible 24/7 while using my name to do it.  Obviously, I wasn't clear.  So here is what I REALLY meant.  Forget the Bible.  Here is my NEW message for mankind.  Now, go spread the word and command people to follow you so they can get into heaven"? Would you believe me?

 T:  No way, Jose.

 Me:  Why not?

T:  God would never.....ever....say the Bible didn't count.  He sacrificed his own son.  Can't let that go for nothing.

Me:  But you just said you didn't know his mind.  If he decided to say the Bible was dumb, how can you say God can't change his mind?  You just contradicted yourself.

T:  I don't know his mind.  I just know he'd never change it when it comes to the Bible.

Me:  You realize you sound like an idiot, right?

Of course, their feeble brains just lock up and they start crying how "intolerant" I am.  LOL!!

...but only if someone could discover the ever elusive "Theory of Everything". Of course, Hawking was just being poetic.

It's pretty funny will Bill-Bob Shitkicker Jenkins says he knows the mind of God. These are usually the same buck-toothed little freaks who on long lonely nights will look for farm animals to enjoy a little Greek.

that's why he had the bible created, so you could read for yourself...

Now interpreting it, that is another matter.

and a whole lot of them get rich in the process.

and just how do you that for sure anyhow? Maybe God really did tell someone, or many someones how he really felt, but just forgot to tell you about it?

That's the beauty about religion, nobody really knows shit, so they are free to make it up as they go along.

If you have to have it proven to you, its not FAITH!!!!

Now go take the trash out before your mom gets pissed.
