in this situation a bad deal is infinitely better than no deal. As it stands, we're in a pay people to dig holes and fill 'em back up state.

And speaking of state assistance, you realize that all states need bailing out right now? It's just the levels of tolerance for tormenting their citizens that vary. Some states are concerned when the programs that help the neediest, protect the general public and educate children can't be paid for. Other states have always considered these needless burdens on the public purse.

So we're going to continue to have massive unemployment, compounded by collapse of state services.

We'll see how stable Trump's balking at a deal is. He's not known for his consistent stances.

Pelosi stuck to her guns on the Blue State bailout, and Trump figured out that in this situation, no deal is better than a bad deal.

By waiting until after the election, it will reduce the election politics gumming up the works.  We’’ll get a package that America really needs, rather than the package that Pelosi selfishly wants.

the Democratic-led Senate and House will be able to quickly agree on a stimulus package after January 3 and if Trump doesn’t sign it, Biden will on January 20.  Yes, no intransigence from McConnell and Trump gumming up the works.

I hope this comes up in the debate, VP or Pres. Then have Biden/Harris remind the American people that they're being blackmailed by the Republican Terrorist candidate. The Dem party should then guarantee a stimulus package that will provide retroactively starting from Aug 1st...Love to see how that plays out

He doesn't need this deal, and can coast to the finish line if he goes back to the mega-rallies up to election day.   Biden is polling lower than Hillary was at the same point in 2016, and we all know how that turned out for her.

Re: Nope, his polling is telling him . . . He doesn't need this deal, and can coast to the finish line if he goes back to the mega-rallies up to election day.   Biden is polling lower than Hillary was at the same point in 2016, and we all know how that turned out for her.
What Poll numbers are you looking at? If you want make statement about poll, make a factual statement and not BS statement. I know you can't help yourself as you are like one the sheep from GOP.

There are two polls that matter: Maris Poll which is a very respected and neutral (do you know what that means?) predicted the demise of Clinton in 2016 has Biden up by 9 point!!! Rasmussen which has a Republican tendency, has Trump DOWN by 8 point. Those two polls were the most accurate in 2016!!!

So who did your poll? I assume it was Lester...

are conducting the exact same way they were in 2016 when they showed Hillary up 6-8 points on the eve of the election.  We all know how that came out.

People who support Trump (especially the Dems) that are part of these polling groups know the pollsters know who they are . . . . their names, addresses, everything about them.  Gallup recently took a poll that promised people anonymity.  They asked Trump voters this question . . . . "Have you told ANY pollster that you are voting for Trump."  34% said No.  The poll results were Trump 56, Biden 40.  That has the makings of a landslide for Trump.  I suppose you're going to claim Gallup is not a reliable pollster?

In your last paragraph, it sounds like you are also of the belief that all of the other polls besides the two you mentioned are inflated or outright bullshit.  You are also wrong about the Marist poll, which had Clinton up IN THE POPULAR VOTE by one point on November 3rd, which was the closest she actually won by, but they NEVER predicted she would lost the election in the electoral college. The link to Reuters is below.  Where did you get your information, GentleGoy?

And if messaged correctly by Biden/ Harris..this WILL hurt trump. And he does need this deal, hence the "After Election" negotiation or blackmail. He's using it for leverage for the people to vote for him....or else.
Biden/Harris should jump on this...And forget whatever polling you're looking at, this is a new animal

the competing messages.  Will they trust Trump to repeat what he did before Covid and deliver the best economy in 70 years, or will they trust the Fed, who has fucked over the people numerous times with ill-timed interest rate increases.  I know some Dems have short memories, but it will be the majority of the voters that decide.  Personally, I trust the majority of the voters to make the right decision.

Well I like the Harris massage on the "trump" economy, the one he inherit....

Keep digging that whole. Everyday it just gets deeper.

Knowing that he's going to get his ass kicked in November, maybe he's just going to drop the mic and have Pence pardon him and vanish.

is digging is big enough for Biden, he will bury him in it.  LOL

I'm voting for him
but if he is trying to stop us from getting another one,
I will not vote for him.

This time everyone heard it.

After the election, I’ll help rebuild the damage I caused. I want you to do me a favor, though.
