About the debate schedules :

2 of the debates run up against football games & whining from Trump says that it's "rigged", because much of his "knuckledragging electorate" will be watching the NFL & not his upcoming pathetic debate performance. Q: should HRC reschedule at least one of the debates? Certainly in the catbird seat right now, if you average in all the polling, she leads DT by 7.5%. She doesn't have to reschedule, but it's only Aug., the public might demand it. We'll see.

I applaud you for FINALLY recognizing that Trump is hardly trying to "duck" the debates, but instead is trying to get them scheduled so as many people as possible will view them.

You are now conceding that point, right?

BTW, do you have ANY idea just how foolish you looked claiming that people with only a handful of posts more than you "have no life" I noticed you gave me a pass because I own my own business, how about others that have been on record for years as being retired? I don't know what I would be more ashamed of, making a lot of posts on TER? or having to still have a job, with a boss you have to answer to at our "advanced age". It's one thing to still be working in your fifties, sixties or beyond because you want to, but how can anyone claim to be one of the "smart people" when they are such miserable failures in their own lives, LTM is the first person that comes to mind in this regard.

OTOH, I rank BP, along with LTM, a pair of foolish slacker slugs to whom this board is their entire lives. Sad. Why you give BP a pass, a rigid, doltish, liberal is beyond me. He & LTM have no right to criticize anyone, particularly me, LOL ! LTM said that "the day you respect him is the day that he jumps off the top of the Stratosphere hotel." We live in hope.

You may be right on the debates, I really don't recall what I said. Premature Alzheimer's---------LOL ! HRC, polling wise, is in the catbird seat, but it would behoove her to reschedule at least ONE of the debates scheduled against the NFL.

i don't think you would refer to me as a knuckle dragger but i would prefer the debates to not coincide with football. Seems the most "democratic" thing to do would be to move them.  

Seems to me it would magnanimous of her to move both and I thinks she would get good publicity for doing so.

Btw, Hills actual lead seems to be about 4-5% when factoring in polling methods. Two most recent LV polls have it exactly at 4 as of today barely outside of the MOE and LA Times has it as Hills +1, well within the MOE, which is incredible when you think about it.

The RCP average, which is the gold standard of averaged polls, paints a dire picture for Trump. ( see below link ) The  Huffpost pollster even paints a worse picture for Trump.

As for the debates, she's in the catbird seat, so rescheduling one would be enough, in my opinion.

The campaigns, privately, don't even consider RV polls at all. When they do there own internal polling they ONLY use LV polls.  

In addition to that, the RCP uses "dated" polls oft times not reflective of recent events i.e. Hills convention bounce, Trumps bad week, etc.

When you look at the LV polls today, it is a 4-5 point race.

And funny YOU would mention manipulating. You were the one that said you have to look at the polls through a four person lens and NOT a Trump vs Hilary only one. LOL

I agree with the former Cheesy and not the latter. LOL

I am not a fan of either candidate, to be clear.  

The debate schedule was set by the bipartisan commission in September 2015. Agreed to by both parties. Trump should just suck it up and debate. He's already starting his 'campaign of unfairness', and the election is already rigged. I fully expect him to take matters to court when/if he loses.  

The real debate issue is neither Gary Johnson or Jill Stein are participating. Neither has chance to win the election, but their exclusion from the debates only serves the Republican and Democratic parties agenda to restrict information.
