A small generalization...

... it's "wingers" who are the problem.

I hate to brush a broad group of people with such a generalization, but I do feel it is true with many of you.

The entire neocon idiology has been unmasked for what it really is. It is a failure. It does not work. The only ones benefitting are (guess who) the big Corporations profits (but not the employees) and the billionairs. This crap is dead. You name the issue, they have failed miserably. Iraq, Katrina, 9/11, Osama (not getting him), Afganistan (is reverting back to the Taliban), WMDs (not finding them), Schaivo, Health Care, Economics, World Influence, World Opinion, Civil Rights, the environment, on and on and on.

Now they must resort to devisive issues such as Gay Marriage and Immigration to stoke their biggotted base to get them to the polls. Or they waist time on issues like flag burning (of which there have only been four flags burned in protest in the last four years) in order to stoke the "patriotic" themes as if that will save them.

Yet all of you rightwingers make distorted and/or completely dishonest posts on this board -- all the same propaganda and spin we hear incessently from Faux, Rush and even a lot the so called "liberal media".

So, I must say that I have come to the conclusion that you are all either stupid or have some type of psychological condition that will not allow you to acknowledge the failures of what you promote. Or maybe you are just uninformed and never read a newspaper. Or maybe you just can't admit that you are wrong. You cling to whatever excuse or talking point is thrown out there  (for the moment) by the rightwing talkers and argue it to death.

It is really, really sad when people are so tied to their position that they can't admit when they were wrong.

For the record, I consider myself an ex-rightwinger. I studied Ayn Rand extensively in the 80s and 90s (I used to be able to rcite from memory huge portions of Atlas Shrugged from memory), advocated vehemently her philosiphy, voted for Reagan twice, argued for smaller government, bla, bla, bla -- all the same stuff I hear from all you righties (except the religous/"moral" stuff -- I never bought into that). I have since gradually moved away from that stuff in many areas (not all) as I have become more informed and educated on how it actually plays out in society, the world and how people are effected.  I agree that the Dems are pretty pathetic too -- but they are nowhere near as vindictive, destructive, incompetent (at governing) and, yes, evil as the Repubs.

The Repubs are much better at campaigning than they are at governing and the reverse is true for the Dems.

I don't know why all you righties cling to this alternate reality of ideas and results. You are just plain wrong on just about everything you spout.

I actually do feel sorry for you. In my opinion it is pretty lame and idiotic that you blindly follow these guys. It is a disgrace.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.  I think I'll laugh!

Instead of laughing maybe you can explain to the board your interspection on all the failures of the people and idiology you support and how and why you still support it? Maybe you can share how you've considered the many proplems with these guys and what they've done, how they've failed and why you still think that is good?

My guess is you are just gonna repeat the same old tired excuses, blame of someone or something else (of coarse Clintons to blame for everything right?) and dogmatic slogans. Why? Because you can't admit you are wrong.

"Rightwingers are so bad.  They are so bad at everything.  Everything they do is bad... I mean really bad."

Yea, I'll get right back to you on that rebuttal.

Like I said -- you just can't admit it can you?

You won't even address all the failures. I wonder why? I mean, if the idiology is so great, it should be easy right?

Have you even given ANY thought to why you cling to such a failure of an idiology?

He went t o war in Iraq to show his daddy that he could do it. He didn't have much a plan for the after math of it cuase he really didn't care to think one out. He treis to get rid of social security because that an insurance program taht all Repulicans have hated since its inception. he spends billions of dollars on nothing so that we can cut socail programs. Iffin we could do that gay marriage ammendment and that fag burning amendment every thing would be fine, so he says. Everything George Bush touches turns to shit. I am a staunch REPUBLICAN. I will piss on anyone who say different. George Bush is nnot a Republican. He is a peice of shit multi-business conspiriter who just wants to ameke big businesses richer at the expense of everyon else.

In the last 50+ years the Left and the Right has done little more than to take away the very liberties the forefathers gave you and trade your nations sovereignty for treaties with otherwise unfriendly foreign nations. This has been done by the unrelenting, surreptitious obfuscation of every issue. This; along with an incremental dumbing down of the populace to where a candidate’s charisma holds priority over their character has turned you into fodder for the Globalist canons.

America's forefathers gave 10 simple, easily read Bill of Rights that both Democrat & Republican leaders have been eviscerating from both ends for decades. The Constitution itself fits into a small brochure yet your leaders are determined to usurp/ignore every one of its precepts. When are all you pugilistic Wingnuts going to realize this premeditated distraction through partisanship, and collaborate to fight the globalist shadow government promoting the bickering that will ultimately be your demise.

However today the rightwing holds all the power and we have seen what their idiology and policies  (along with their incompetence) has brought upon us. For people to get on this board and defend it is just plan idiocy.

Like I said, the Dems are pathetic too -- but now adays I'll vote for almost any Dem over a Repub. Something has got to change -- things are not going so well in just about every area.

and as long as the other smaller ineffectual parties don't come up with credible/elect able alternatives all will go as planned.

A cursory study of recent history will show a repeated swing of the partisan pendulum. With each new donkey or elephant regime comes a wave of changes that benefit a few (usually the rich) and a load of shit that takes the next regime 4 to 8 years to correct while they fuck up more shit for the next regime to repair.

The focus of changes is usually mostly on partisan ideologies.
IE: Far more focus, rhetoric and action have been addressed to Roe v Wade than a viable solution to our dependence on petroleum.
Both issues are 30+ years old. One is a subjective moral issue that will never be settled, and keeps the proletariats forever fighting in the streets.
The other is an objective issue that affects every citizen; but stands to forever marginalize the very superpower that controls/finances BOTH political parties.

Whether you liked him or loathed him; Ross Perot was the greatest demonstration of a bi-partisan concern in recent history. For a brief period the two parties put ALL their ideologies aside and used every resource to insure that Perot or a future wild card like Perot could not threaten the status quo.

... it's "wingers" who are the problem.

the Repub constituency generally sees politics as more adversarial, closer to a zero-sum game, than Dems generally do.

Yes, there are Dems who believe that the world owes them a living; but it's nothing like the Repub assumption, and Dubya is a classic example.
