I can't read x (malware threats) so I had to look elsewhere. I found her full speech here:

.
I saw only a few things I think the Dems might have asked her to change. [my comments in brackets] I'm not a political party pro, so there might be more or different concerns.
.
"... For 320 days, we’ve stood together, demanding to enforce our laws on friend and foe alike to reach a ceasefire [agreed - Biden admin is working very hard on this; Blinken is in the mideast now], end the killing of Palestinians [agreed - Biden admin wants it to stop, too], free all the Israeli [agreed] and Palestinian hostages [problem - I think she is referring to those arrested, tried, convicted and in prison in Israel. They are NOT hostages. They are convicted criminals.] [and she doesn't mention US, UK, and other international hostages], and to begin the difficult work of building a path to collective peace [agree] and safety [agree]. That’s why we are here—members of this Democratic Party committed to equal rights and dignity for all [agree]. What we do here echoes around the world. ..."
.
There might be some other changes that she MIGHT agree to make but, allowing her to speak might depend on how well people know and trust her. There is a history of speakers at all levels (JHS, HS, college graduations, and on up) who get their speeches approved in advance and then go off script.
.
Does anyone know her position on Hamas? Is she currently pro-Hamas, anti-Hamas, critical of Hamas at all? Just like an old video clip of any candidate can sink their campaign, some old Ramman clip or quote saying anything favorable about Hamas or "wipe Israel off the map" can keep her off the stage right now. EVEN IF she sincerely changed her position.
.
The other reason they might not want her to speak right now is the status of talks in the MidEast. Blinken is still there and a few wrong words from the convention of the current Admin party might make things even more difficult.
.
If it was up to me, the speech, as written, needs a few changes. This next suggestion would be really bizarre but it only works if Rumman agrees to (a) the speech changes AND (b) letting someone else read her remarks. E.g., "We were going to invite Rumman back to the convention to give her speech, but she has already returned to GA. [Of course, that might be a condition to allow her speech to be presented at all: go back to GA so we have a valid excuse to have someone else read your speech and it will be someone Rumman agrees to.] Reading her speech tonight is [trusted person who won't sneak the more controversial and unapproved parts back in]." And after the reading, the reader could add, "And Harris and Wolz also support an enforceable cease fire, the return of all hostages [held by Hamas], etc., etc., etc." Hay! Maybe Harris herself will agree to read Rumman's (edited) speech!
